POOR SLEEP? HERE’S YOUR SOLUTION!

Updated: Aug 26, 2020

Hi there!

There is already so much stress in the world today, from the pandemic to the recession which has led to an increase in everyday work and home stress. It has become necessary that we find ways to get the needed rest to be able to function properly.

If you have been struggling to get a good night’s rest, know that you are not alone.

Sleep deprivation has been known to cause heightened levels of stress in individuals. A lack of sleep—insomnia is one of the most common sleep disorders amongst individuals today.

As part of our vision, We at PLUSH have made it our aim to work at not only providing the best in quality products, but also to serve you with the right type of products that will enhance your general well being.

Our quality, luxurious satin pillowcases have just the right texture and feel to improve your quality of sleep and in turn, lower your stress levels!

That said, here are four additional tips to help you improve your sleep quality!

  1. Condition Your Bed Room Environment For Sleep

A cozy room with very little or no light sets the right atmosphere to induce sleep. Having bright lights on with blaring music, and clothes scattered everywhere is not going to help your sleep very much if you are already struggling with it.

Give your room a do-over and get cozy with our satin bedding products. Beware though, you might have to set your alarm on multiple repeats just to be able to get out of bed!

2. Prepare Your Body For Sleep

This does not get mentioned much but is very effective and ranks high in our recommendation. A warm shower after a hard day's work, with fresh neatly washed satin loungewear is a good way to prepare your body for sleep.

You really do not want to be rolling around, uncomfortable in your sweaty clothes in the middle of your sleep.

Ladies, spend some time to wipe off your makeup and no matter how tired you are please, TAKE OFF YOUR BRA before you go to bed.

3. Prepare Your Mind For Sleep

Apart from preparing your body, you need to take care of your mental state as well. While it is true that getting enough rest will boost your mental state and lower your stress levels, it is also very true that having  a relaxed state of mind will help you sleep better at night.

When overwhelmed or stressed out, try journaling. Writing down words of affirmation and going over what you are grateful for at the end of each day can also help you have the peace and calm your mind deserves.

Whatever lets you sleep better at night- literally live that!

4. Try to Stick To Particular Sleep

Patterns

A messed up sleep routine is not going to produce an effective good night's rest. As busy as life can be with deadlines to meet and emergencies to attend to, we must still try to develop sleep patterns and stick to it.

What that does is that as your body gets used to the sleep pattern, you are automatically going to feel more relaxed around bed time which makes it much easier for you to drift off into sleep at bedtime to have the quality rest your body deserves.

We all have goals to reach, castles to build and dreams to accomplish. Good rest is essential for us to be our best selves mentally and physically. Invest in your health and wellness. Choose quality, choose Plush.
